If you’re looking on improving your personal game, you just got to work at it on your own, learn on how to shoot diff. weapons depending on the one you have. I never was taught or told how to play, it just came naturally. So if you’re meant to play CS it will come in time and practice.” eoL-DarK: “Watch demo's of good players/teams, and play a lot.” [9]ScreaM: “If you want to improve your "Individual Skill" then I think the best part is to play ALOT of public game, but when you have that aim you want then you need the "Match understanding sense" :) So the best to get that part is to play very much clan wars. Then it will come in time. And if you want "Respect" from the "Top clans" you have to show yourself on LAN. That’s the only way today :)” esu|Swift: “Well, start off by watching demos from the top teams, and their players, that is a good way to learn new stuff. After that I would try out playing POD Bots as many players do, just to find out exactly how every weapon works and to perfect your skills, other than that its just hard work and dedication that will get you to the top.” TAU|Griffin: “I believe that anyone can aim as fast and as accurately as anyone from any of the top teams. That they way for me to get more tp and aim too... but if u only are thinking on the aim... 2on2s public is the way I think. To keep up the mode... you should play everyday 2-3 hours... Work on communication, and your ability to cooperate with others, and most importantly remember why you are playing, and have a good time." you will be feared by the groupies that hang out in your chans clan, and you can use the ss's as proof that you own, and when someone asks you if you want to scrim, pretend you are about to scrim with leet people, then pretend you are afk

seriously tho, pug/scrim as much as you possibly can, and if you cant pug/scrim, play on a pub that you know will be a challenge, and play on it as tho you were in a cal-i finals match, pubs are very good at developing game knowledge because you will experience the most amount of styles and strategies

It forces you to aim far better, using colt/ak/awp/DE lets you get lazy in a pub (which caries on to matches).

Shag: Put yourself in the shoes of your opponents. What would you hate if you were a CT in B in dust2? I would hate getting flashed to hell then rushed by 5 at once. Not ppl coming in one by one.. bc I could kill them "easier." That's just a stupid example... but putting yourself in the shoes of the opponent can give you the edge over them. You can exploit their weakness, as many top players have the same weaknesses(a certain shot they cant make, or getting naded/flashed/smoked)
And of course what kane said... use what you're used to/like best. Who cares if every top player has a MS3.0.. .doesnt mean you're gonna be good with it. I personally cant fkn play with that mouse.. it skips like hell for me, even though it doesnt for anyone else. But the mouse I use(a really old logitech that's not even in stores anymore)doesnt skip for me, but for everyoen else.... It's just he way you use your stuff and how you're used to it.
Same with mouse pad.... you dont need a 1312312321$ pad... I have a 3 year old cloth pad that's ripped up, and at summer CPL ksharp did too. My point: stop asking me for my sens/res/specs/hardware/etblablalbalbalba :)
