Quake: Dignitas adds five for Quake

By: Philip - Published November 07, 2005 at 1:21 AM EST - Writer Archive
Team Dignitas have added five new players to their Quake division. These five players were formerly from Demonic Core.
After losing their Quake 4 team to mTw.ATi, the Dignitas team wasted no time replacing them by picking up the Demonic Core players. The new Dignitas roster will consist of five players, United Kingdom TooGoood, United Kingdom blunt, United Kingdom uji, United Kingdom ddk and Australia skip. Look for the team to be competing at several tournaments and competitions in the following months.

Team Dignitas | Press Release
We are extremely pleased and excited to announce our fantastic new line up for Quake 4. We would like to introduce the new Team Dignitas squad, who join us with a high pedigree as they were formally from the famous Quake clan Demonic Core; we welcome them to our organization.

Line-up - United Kingdom TooGoood, United Kingdom blunt, United Kingdom uji, United Kingdom ddk and Australia skip

Our new team joins us as an extremely well respected team from the Quake scene and between them they have a lot of experience at the highest level. The experience within the team comes from several years playing together especially in Quake 3 and UT. Former teams they have represented include UNR, 4Kings, Defiance, Levitation and UK National teams in several mods. The team will play 4v4 tdm and also 1v1 along with our other 1v1 players.

I am extremely happy that we have picked up a team as good as the one that has joined us. I have personally played along side some of them and I can certainly vouch for the talent that we have signed. Quake 4 has certainly breathed life into the gaming world, as a lot of people seem to be playing it. With the announcement from the CPL and Clanbase of some big money tournaments in the near future, the Quake 4 scene is looking very healthy. I cannot wait to see our new team in action, as it will bring back some old memories for me from my days in Quake 3. I hope that our team can reach the goals that they have set themselves and we will certainly support them as much as we can.” said Dignitas Team Manager Michael O’Dell.

Were all extremely happy and honoured to be signed by Team Dignitas. Our team has always strived to be the best we can, and now with support from Team Dignitas and their sponsors, I am sure we will surpass any expectations we ever had playing as Demonic Core! needless to say we are all very excited of what the future holds!" said TooGoood Quake 4 Squad Leader.
