By: Philip - Published November 07, 2005 at 2:44 PM EST - Writer Archive
Team Tek9 have joined the recent surge in teams adding Quake divisions by adding one of their own.
Tek 9 has joined the many other gaming organizations, Begrip, mTw.ATI, Dignitas and x6tence who have recently announced the addition of a Quake 4 division. Tek 9 has picked up five players, Norway XatrIX, Netherlands draven, Netherlands Xhep, Norway CLains, United Kingdom GaRpY and Belgium DesorteD.

Today the moment is finally there, Tek-9 goes Quake. Quake 4 that is. With a Painkiller team the move to Quake 4 was of course an obvious one. Tek-9 Networks Ltd proudly presents

XatrIX
draven
Xhep
CLains
GaRpY
DesorteD

Steven "dfb" Leunens: "With this Quake4 team beneath our wings we are once more preparing for a great 2006. I'm confident each and every one of these players will perform as well as they can, now and in the future. We have taken in both known players and some good prospects to make it a deadly mix of skill and experience, let's hope for a good end result !"

Both CLains and GaRpY qualified for the World Tour Finals in New York and will be attending the big event 20-22 November under the flag of TeK-9.

Willem "DesorteD" De Roover is 21 years old and a former player of fnatic. DesorteD has played Call of Duty and Team Fortress Classic and had no Quake experience before Q4. This, however, is exactly why we picked him. Without the experience, Willem is already performing at high level and his learning curve is amazing.
