Quake: cl0ck wins Everlan Q4 1v1

While the Counter-Strike: Source championship took the spotlight at Everlan, there was a small side tournament held for Quake 4 with some big names in attendance.

Although it was a smaller BYOC tournament with no cash prize, some of the top Quake 4 players in North America traveled to Denver, Colorado this weekend to compete in the Everlan Quake 4 1v1 tournament. After some fierce competition, x6-cl0ck defeated his teammate, x6-destrukt, 2-1 in the championship.

I dont know what Q4 players attended EverLAN, but GotFrag's lack of Q4 coverage seemed a bit rude.

I got 4th :[. dkt knocked me out and blaz0r beat me in a really close game (2 frags i thinK) in the runoff for 3rd.

EDIT dkt chose a bad map and then got angry.

I didnt choose the map that wasnt in rotation, destrukt did. I picked phrantic, he picked galang, I then tossed edge and he picked from fleet/pro-blip.

#13, not really. Winter CPL 2005 had a relativly low prize pool, but still managed to bring the top q4 players from around the world.

Well that was CPL Winter :o, every other tournament will be as #13 said though.

did it now #15? lack of fatty voo gellehsak czm zero4 {insert euros i dont care about here} . i was surprised the people that showed for the q4 cpl did infact show but then again i think the biggest name there was what cooller probably? wait till more people decide to give up real life and come back

gellehsak was there and competed. finished top 16... fatal1ty was there but admited himself he wasnt good enough in his current state to enter the competition. czm had finals so he couldnt make it, zero4 is making 100g a year easy playing poker and has no interest in tournament for much lesser value.
