Weenus checks in with more Quake IV handy work in this interview with Nomadic. The two cover Winter CPL, the CES shootout, and much more!
While many of the American players might have predicted a few other continental heroes to surpass Evan at the Winter CPL event, it seemed as if the European's were well aware of Evan's Quake 4 abilities, some even considering him one of North America's best players. After a solid run in the Upper bracket at the Winter CPL event, defeating well known players such as Jibo, and SK.Toxic's brother Gopher, Evan fell in the quarter finals to cooller, who went on to win the entire tournament. Evan then showed up ten minutes late to play against Deus in the lower brackets, as his practice against RocketBoy ran over schedule, which resulted in his forfeit loss, placing him at 9th through 12th place. ![]() Only a few short weeks after his play at the Winter CPL event, Evan, a Las Vegas native like me, attended the CES convention, playing against Johnathan 'Fatal1ty' Wendel in the now famous Fatal1ty shootout challenge. Evan ended up defeating Fatal1ty, five frags to Wendel's four, with a five minute time limit on The Longest Day. While many attempt to discredit what is a definite confidence booster, and simultaneously a sharp dart in the heart of the Fatal1ty fan's around the world looking for Quake 4 domination from Johnathan Wendel, Evan looks anxiously to the future events and the 2006 CPL World Tour. Evan and I managed to discuss the Fatal1ty Shootout, The American versus European debate, the Winter CPL event, his forfeit loss, and ultimately, his future. You've read the Clan Kapitol interview, now you can read the interview of one of cK's competitive front runners, Evan 'Nomadic' Bradshaw. Page:
