Quake: ASUS Winter 2006 announced

CyberFight.org has announced their upcoming ASUS Winter 2006 event, with tournaments in both Counter-Strike and Quake 4 being held.
CyberFight.org has recently announced their upcoming ASUS Winter 2006 Open event. The event, sponsored by ASUS (Russia), with support from ATi, VIA Technologies, Microsoft Inc., and Intel, will be holding tournaments in both Counter-Strike and Quake 4. The event will be held in Moscow, Russia from February 24-25.

The Counter-Strike tournament will be an invite tournament with qualifiers also taking place. A list of invited teams, as well as qualifiers information, will be available Friday, January 27th, 2006.

The Quake 4 1v1 male and female tournaments will be open to anyone who would like to participate. Registration for the Quake 4 tournaments will begin tomorrow, Thursday, January 26th, 2006. Below is a list of the prize payouts:

Counter-Strike 5v5 Masters tournament: 330,000 rubels ($12,000 US)
Quake 4 1v1 male open tournament: 165,000 rubels ($6,000 US)
Quake 4 1v1 female open tournament: 165,000 rubels ($6,000 US)

Detailed prize distribution information will be made available on Saturday, January 28th, 2006. Rules of the tournament will also be released at this time.
