The eSports World Cup has released the number of Qualifier spots for each country.
The ESWC Qualifier spots are in! ESWC 2006 is planned to take place between June29th to the 2nd of July. The Quake 4 tournament will showcase $40,000 in cash prizes, with $13,000 going to first place. This will be ESWC's first Q4 event, the closest event being ESWC 2005's Q3 tournament which ended with a
victory for none other than Anton "Cooller" Singov.
It is unclear at the moment whether the spots released are the number of preliminaries in each location, or the actual number of competitors that can qualify for the finals.

And yeah, the scandanavian countries should have 5-6 players total.
#11 it's only this year that canada has a sponsor (dont know if it's true, i just read it on the link you gave), last year canada hasn't sent anybody.
