Today, KODE5, in association with Freaks4U, is pleased to announce the location for the KODE5 Quake 4 Global Finals – Games Convention. Taking place from August 24th to 27th, Europe’s largest video game show welcomes over 134,000 visitors to 80,000 square meters of the latest in interactive entertainment. This year, showgoers will witness an event that takes the top 1v1 duelers from eight countries around the world to determine the KODE5 Quake 4 Global Champion. With over 2000 media representatives from 28 countries and hardcore gamers from all over the world in attendance, Games Convention is the ideal place to hold the final KODE5 Quake 4 event, and bring gaming one step closer to the mainstream.

Established 2002, Games Convention was Germany’s first fair for interactive entertainment. Since then, it has grown into one of the world’s most respected gaming shows with over 280 exhibitors showing off the latest trends in the world of gaming. This year, KODE5 has chosen Games Convention to be the venue for the Quake 4 Global Finals.

First-place finishers from each qualifying country will be flown to Games Convention from August 24th to 27th to compete against the top Quake 4 players the world has to offer. The winner from Games Convention will be crowned KODE5 Quake 4 Global Champion.
