Quake: Toxic wins WSVG Dallas Quake 4

Quake 4 finishes with fireworks as Alessandro "Stermy" Avallone finishes unbeaten in the upper bracket and takes on Johan "toxic" Quick in the Grand finals tommorow. Stay tuned here for your winners and final standings.
Quake 4 competition finishes today at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Dallas, Texas for the Intel Summer Championship 2006. The event boasts a 128 player tournament with over $70,000 in prize money as well as trip to the finals later in the year and seeding for future events. This third event for the World Series of Video games should provide some very exciting competition as many of the top Q4 players in the world will be in attendance.

Alessandro "Stermy" Avallone finishes unbeaten in the upper rounds and takes on Johan "toxic" Quick in the Grand Finals on Sunday, July 9th.

Do not forget to set your Personal Timezone to find out exactly when the matches will be played in your area so you do not miss any of the action.

This is about how I'd have expected him to perform, after watching the LANwar demos. Pretty surprised he's in the final. But well done to him for making it.
