The new Belarusian Quake star Alexey "Cypher" Yushanevsky will have to concede his victory at KODE5 Russia to Anton "Cooller" Singov due to age restrictions.
According to mousesports' official website, Anton "Cooller" Singov will replace the 16-year old KODE5 Russia Quake 4 winner Alexey "Cypher" Yushanevsky at the grand finals in Germany. The protection of minors in Germany differs from other countries. People under the age of 18 aren't allowed to play the default version of Quake 4. The only chance for Alexey to attend this event was hoping the host to use the German version of the game. But latter refused this request, since the German version of Quake 4 causes more problems than expected. As a matter of this, Anton gets the spot to attend the event. Additionally, this may cause problems for the 16-year old Sabian "Clamp-ok" Hayblum who is to attend the KODE5 USA Quake 4 finals this weekend.
The following players are confirmed for the KODE5 Quake 4 finals, set to take place August 24th to the 27th at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany:

Johan "
SK.toxic" Quick - KODE5 Sweden

Alessandro "
stermy" Avallone - KODE5 Italy

Anton "
mouz.Cooller" Singov - KODE5 Russia

Ivo "
forever" Lindhout - KODE5 Germany

Jay "

Kenan "
Dunpeal" Aydın - KODE5 Turkey
MaCrOsS - KODE5 Spain

Seriously this is sad but it makes me laugh because it is soooooooo ridiculous ! Germany ftw !
the finals in another country.
They should step up to it and move the finals to another place.
by law and under contract, they cant let anyone under the age of 18 to attend. They have to choice, and trust me, they would want him to come compete like everyone else does.
Anywho, since Cooller was the top player of majority age in KODE5 Russia, I guess it makes sense to send him to Germany in Cypher's stead. However, KODE5 should have gotten their act together and informed him of this before the national qualifier as this is now time wasted on Cypher's account.
