Neither of the CPL World Tour's top 2 players--those two being Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager of Team Fnatic and Jonathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel--played in the CPL Winter tournament in December of 2005, the month following the CPL World Tour finals. Cooller, winner of the Quake III Arena tournament at ESWC 2005, went on to take first place in the 128+-man tourney to take home $9,000.
