I get this message when tyring to join a server: "you are missing some files to connect to this server, and the server doesn't provide downloads." I downloaded Q4Max and its loaded when trying to connect to the servers listed above =[ plz help!

I use kquery and filter for fs_game q4max ;)

when i try to connect to a server in q4max, it opens the connection screen (doesn't get to the loading screen) that has the ABORT button on it, then the window shuts down, a command console pops up and loads q4 again and tries to connect and does this in a continuous cycle. that is also exciting.

#10 same thing happens to me. i have to hit ctrl + F4 to get out of it. I think that happens only when it's a map i don't have

To number 10: I had the same problem. Start Q4 and go into the mods screen and load Q4MAX and try to connect to a server running q4max after doing that...it worked for me.

#13 and #22 q4max has more competative options, such as bright skins as of now. Future versions will have much more.

Basicly if you want to get good at q4, download q4max, cuz thats where the competition is.

When I try to join a Q4max server I'm always missing some files, even though I've got 0.72 installed. I set up my own dedicated server with 0.72 and I can join it fine. Are these servers running old versions or what?
