Justin Blanchard, of the CPL, has posted in the thecpl.com forums that they are in search of Quake 4 competitors for a player committee. Players will be involved in setting rules, giving input on maps, seeds for the winter tournament, and other aspects pertaining to competition. If interested, email Just Blanchard.

This should definitely help with getting the competition to where it needs to be in terms of the best maps and settings to use. We all know that the CPL recently announced it would be using Q4MAX as its competitive mod, and now it is willing to receive input from the community itself on how to best structure its competition. This is very good news considering that Quake 4 is so young and needs some sort of standards to be decided on for competitive play.
