Last night the Quake 4 1v1 players got their season started, and tonight, the teams will go head to head. Many top teams from North America are signed up for this AmeriCup season, so we should expect some fierce battles. As with the other competitions being held by GGL, there are two Invite divisions consisting of eight teams. Invite Division 1 consists of clan Kapitol, FiTH, Silent Service, Gravity, Aggression, CCCP, Clan Knightmare Fire and Darkside. Division 2 houses Canine, Clan Magi, blackdragons, inevitable Demise, Check Six, clan519, nolove and Rev0lution. All sixteen teams will be in action tonigth, with shoutcasting and video streaming being provided by Radio iTG.

Similar to the 1v1 competition, the AmeriCup 4v4 league will be playing a best of three map format. Tonights three maps will be [TMP] Fragging Yard, [TMP] Sandstorm, [TMP] Bloodwork (If Necessary). A full list of all Quake essentials can also be found here
