Although the players are preparing for the upcoming Winter CPL Event in Dallas, there is sure to be some intense action as the Americup 2 heads into its second week. In week 1, Division 1, we saw Mark "cl0ck" Lupiano, Brian "destrukt" Flander, Chance "chance" Lacina and Kurt "immortal" Shimada defeat their opponents. This week's division 1 match of the week definitely has to be when the teammates from Check-Six, Lupiano and Flander, meet. They are planning to play this match in the BYOC area on LAN this coming weekend.

Over in Division 2, we saw Jason "Socrates" Sylka, Jeff "Thump4" McShane, Sabian "Clamp-ok" Hayblum and Alejandro "puto" Gonzalez come out on top in their matches. McShane definitely had the upset of the week with his upset of veteran Sean "daler" Price. Tonight, McShane will look to continue his good start when he faces off against Price's teammate and training partner, Mark "wombat" Larsen. All GGL AmeriCup Quake matches are played in a best of three format.
