While the majority of the American Quake 4 community was in attendance at the Winter CPL event in Dallas last weekend, Sabian "clamp-ok" Hayblum was at home due to age restriction (16 years old). He made the best of his time off by winning the Gamespot.com Quake 4 tournament where he earned himself over $1000 in Newegg.com gift certificates. Clamp-ok defeated DP1 in the finals 16-10 to secure the first prize of a $750 gift certificate from Newegg.com. By winning the finals, he also earned himself the right to play female professional gamer, Kornelia, for a chance at an additional prize. Despite having a 100ms ping compared to Kornelia's 9ms ping, Clamp-ok dominated the exhibition match with a final score of 30-10. By defeating Kornelia, Sabian won himself an additional $250 gift certificate.
