Quake 4's One versus One EuroCup has concluded its Group Play stage and will now move on to the playoffs. The season featured fourty eight players who were split into eight groups of six. Each competitor played opponents within their group for a shot at making the playoffs. With all round robin matches now complete, ClanBase have released the match ups for the opening round. Two players from each group advance into the next stage.

In Group A, fox managed to grab the top spot despite being in a three way tie with kzyma and impulse with a record three wins and one loss. In the event of a tie such as this, the league looks at the net number of match points. If this is also a tie, they will take the victor of the head to head between the two. Fox managed to grab top spot by only losing two maps, and kzyma took the second playoff spot by only losing three maps. Group B was led by last years Painkiller Champion, Vo0, with a record of four wins and zero losses. Winz came in second with a very strong record of three wins and one loss.

Toxic stood tall in Group C going undefeated in three maps. J4rno took the second place spot at two wins and one loss. TooGoood and OoZe took first and second respectively in Group D with TooGoood being undefeated and OoZe only having one loss. The two advancing players in Group E are no strangers to the International scene as Ztrider, and CPL Winter Champion, Cooller grabbed the top two spots with records of five wins, zero losses and four wins, one loss respectively. Group F was led by avek and Begrip's Jibo in quite a tight race with a threeway tie for that second spot. Jibo managed to edge out both polterizer and Zaccubus. Group G sees pay, undefeated with four wins and zero losses, and DevilMC, three wins and one loss, moving on. Last but not least, Group H representatives are PURRI and st_germain. PURRI remained undefeated as well with three wins and zero losses and st_germain managed two wins and a single loss.
