ESWC Quake action is taking place this weekend in Trappes, France. The 2006 French qualifier is underway with twelve players trying to qualify for the Grand Finals. The final two players will win the coveted spots in the ESWC Grand Final in Paris, which will be held from June 28th to July 2nd.

The twelve players were divided into four groups of three and the top two players from each group advanced to the next stage. Top French player Michael "winz" Bignet is sitting on the number one seed and faces off against Jean-Marc "agon" Denis in the first match of elimination play.
