Quake: Lost-CaUsE joins TeK-9

By: Mark Cheben - Published June 01, 2006 at 5:21 PM EDT - Writer Archive
Top Quake 4 player, Rafik "Lost-CaUsE" Bryant, has joined TeK-9.
Today it is time to announce another addition to the TeK-9 Quake roster. After recently signing Ivo "Forever" Lindhout, yet another Quake star has decided to join our ranks. After talks that were ongoing for several weeks the contracts have been signed and it’s all official now.

None other than Rafik "Lost-CaUsE" Bryant will join TeK-9 as a duel player. This 22 year old American has earned his ranks in several games such as Quakeworld, Quake 2, UT2003, UT2004 , Doom III, Counterstrike 1.6 (playing for teams such as United 5, JMC and TAU), Painkiller (duel), Quake 3 (notable teams: canine, star 69) and now Quake 4. He was already able to made a mark for himself by being the first player to beat Jonathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel in Quake 4 on a LAN tournament this weekend… twice.

Rafik will be the first step for TeK-9 on US soil and he will represent us at WSVG Kentucky (Lanwars), CPL Summer and several other major events. He is also one of the eight players that could possibly qualify as the American player for ESWC in France this summer.
