Three hundred and twenty-five players are signed up for the tournament, and with a $20,000 grand prize this is set to be the largest Quake 4 tournament to date. Some of the top competitors in the world will not be in attendance, including 3 of the top 8 finishers at ESWC; Cooller, Clamp-ok, and Cypher will all miss the Intel Summer Championship due to extenuating circumstances that are out of their control. Cooller confirmed today on ESReality that he is having visa troubles and will not attend, and both Clamp-ok and Cypher are only 16 years old, falling a year short of the WSVG’s age requirement of 17.

That is not going to stop the competition though, as the show will go on with a very competitive field showing up for Dallas. Let’s take a look at my top 5 predictions (in no particular order) on the next page.
