For the first time in 4 years, the World Cyber Games will host a Quake tournament with a special invite allstar game planned for this year's event.

Johan "toxic" Quick looks for his 7th straight major international tournament victory, but will have to go through 7 of the world's best to do so. As previously reported, Quick's most prominent rival, Anton "Cooller" Singov will not be in attendance due to VISA issues, and has been replaced by Magnus "fox" Olsson.

Group play will turn into a double elimination bracket. Placings of the 1v1 tournament will be used for a 2v2 tournament thereafter.
