Quake: CPL Quake 3 Australian Qualifier Announced

The CPL announces the Quake 3 Qualifier for its Australian event.
Perth, Western Australia - Ping Events, Inc. is proud to announce the Australia-wide Quake 3 Qualifier for the CPL Championship Finals, taking place December 16-20, 2006 in Dallas, Texas.

A series of Australia-wide semi final tournaments will be coordinated by Ping Events, and hosted by major LAN gaming groups in each state of Australia. The finalist from each of these events will be flown to Perth, Western Australia, to participate in the Australian National Qualifier.

The Australian National Qualifier will be held on the weekend of November 25-26 at 4PlayGames, Australia's highest "spec" gaming cafe. The event will be hosted and coordinated by Redflag LAN fest, a nationally renowned LAN Gaming Organization with over five years experience in managing gaming tournaments and events.

The National Qualifier winner will be flown to Dallas, Texas to represent Australia in the CPL Championship Finals, a global event with participants from 51 countries. The Australian finalist will compete for a chance to win a share of the $50,000 prize purse.
