How are you feeling now that you've won the CPL Nordic event?

Fan "Jibo" Zhibo: I feel very nice because I got my revenge against Z4muZ. He beat me the day before 15:0 on ztn. After the win against him, I felt confidence in myself. This event is the is the first international event I've won coming from the loser's bracket.

You say you got revenge on Z4muZ, does that mean you saw him as a bigger opponent than your grand final game vs Spart1e?

Yep, 'cause 2 years ago I saw his demo and we had already played at QLAN2. I knew he would be my main problem. After my losing on pro-nodm9 and the owning I received on ztn, I looked at my demo twice and thought all night long on how I lost and how to beat him. It's working. :)

You were up 8-3 against Z4muZ on nodm9, what happened?

I felt I controlled the map, so I thought it was time to get more spawn kills and still pressure him until the last minute. I was a little confused and made some stupid attacks and lost control of mega. I tried to run away from him, but he killed me and I gave a few free frags to him. Meh.

Did you make any drastic changes for your second game vs Z4muZ?

Yep. I played with totally inverted tactics. I chose a defensive style instead of attack like yesterday. I was more silent and preferred mega-strafejumps and flights like batman :D. I just played very careful.

Going into the finals vs Spart1e, were you confident you would come back from the loser's bracket and defeat him twice, and that easily as well?

He is a good player, but I think he needs more experience. His aim is better than mine so I chose control and hard pressure all match. I saw his game vs Z4muZ on pro-nodm9 and it seemed to me that he beat Z4muZ because of a little luck. He was nervous all match so I know he is a soft guy. I just didn't give him any time for rest.

What did you think of the CPL Nordic event, and Dreamhack in general this year?

CPL Dreamhack was one of the most fun events in a while. We had a nice time with the Quake 4 players (fojji, Stermy) and the Chrome girlz :). The organization was very nice, attractions, exhibitions, etc.

After CPL Italy you added a frown smiley face to your MSN name, are you disappointed with your third place finish?

I'm very disappointed by 3rd place. I practiced beforehand on a 17" Samsung CRT. At CPL, they were using 8ms TFT's. I never played vs players like k1ller before, who rail everywhere and always. I was just shocked and I lost my ztn game.

CPL Italy I lost because of so many problems with VISA issues and hotel booking. As I arrived i didn't have any room for to sleep in - ROFL! :D. I got a visa 16 hours before my flight, it's so dangerous that way. Me and LoSt-CaUzE booked a new hotel and we moved all our stuff to north of the city. It was a really unhappy situation. CPL Italy announced they might cancel so I canceled my flight. The next day I ran to the travel agency and booked ticket again, because they announced it would still go on...bullshit! :)

Will you have a problem with CPL Winter using TFT's?

ASUS promised me that they will send me a 2ms TFT monitor, so I will use that. Btw thanks to ASUS :).

Do you think k1ller is an all-aim no-brain player?

No, he is a very good player, but he's using rail too much. Sometimes it works when the enemy can't hit him, but sometimes he may lose with that style.

After now winning CPL Singapore and CPL Nordic and a third place at CPL Italy are you confident going into the CPL Winter Championships?

About CPL winter I cannot tell you anything, we will see. Of course my target is 1st place, that's why I come to CPL Italy and Nordic.

What players will you be looking out for the most?

fox, Z4muZ, destrukt, cl0ck, czm (if he plays) and of course...COOLLER.

How will you prepare for CPL Winter?

I will practice with Russian players like noBap, Dark, Boomer, etc.

Will you practice with Cooller at all?

Maybe or maybe not. We may LAN after the WSVG finals in preparation for CPL Winter.

So he WILL be attending CPL Winter?

Do you feel you're currently at the top of your game?

No, I feel I'm only playing 60% of my game. I'm still working with on my tactics and timing, they are my main objects. :)
