Bowes has won his second straight ProDuels Quake 4 Cup by defeating last week's Quake 3 winner, Chance "chance" Lacina, in a three-map grand final.

After defeating Lacina in the upper bracket finals in two maps, Lacina found his way back in the grand finals, needing to win two best of three sets. After Bowes won the first map of Placebo Effect by nine frags, Lacina made it interesting by taking Bowes on Monsoon by two. Unfortunately for Lacina that was all he would get, as Bowes ended the event by winning the newly introduced Torment.
