After nearly two weeks of waiting, the upper bracket finals between lolZ and WaK will be played tonight. LolZ advanced to the finals after upseeting number one seed Karma in the upper bracket semifinals. Since WaK was awarded a forfeit win over DFM in the semifinals, their last match was upto 3-4 weeks ago, where they trounced The Breakfest Club by big numbers.

Tournament admin and WaK captain Kevin "2" Stuhlmann will look to lead his team to a spot in the grand finals. "If we get our starting 4 to show up and they're warmed up, the match should be over in two maps", says Sthulmann. "If not, it'll be a struggle through three maps."

Slight underdog lolZ will need big games from captain and strategest Chumma "foyo" Afridi and offensive power Jean-Daniel "bigwig" Provencher. Being the underdog on paper doesn't seem to faze them, though. "We are a well machined team right now as opposed to WaK, who haven't been in situations where they've been forced to apply themselves in match circumstances", tells Afridi. "If they don't have their teamplay together and play as they are capable, we will take advantage of their mistakes. Prepare to hear a lot of spam and honks etiquette."

The match will start tonight at 7:30 PM EST.
