Next week, the ESWC Finals for Quake 4 will showcase Europe's top Quake players in Paris, France. Mikael “PURRI” Tarvainen and Felix “sorax” Nelson will be taking the places of Johan “toxic” Quick and Magnus “Fojji” Olsson, who will be attending other events. In addition, Alessandro "stermy" Avallone, who will be competing in a CGS event, will be replaced by Italian-quaker Tiziano "ob3n" Natale. Second, the ESWC Finals will be using the recently released Quake 4 patch 1.4.2 with the .78d Q4MAX update. The tournament will be held at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles in Paris, France, and will take place July 5th-8th. Though it’s in conflict with other major events such as WSVG Dallas and CGS, the Quake events will feature the majority of Europe’s top duelers.
