By: Joe Szymkowicz - Published June 28, 2007 at 10:12 AM EDT - Writer Archive
Next week, the ESWC Finals for Quake 4 will showcase Europe's top Quake players in Paris, France.
With the ESWC Finals coming up shortly, there have been some significant changes made to the event in the past few weeks. To start off, Sweden Mikael “PURRI” Tarvainen and Sweden Felix “sorax” Nelson will be taking the places of Sweden Johan “toxic” Quick and Sweden Magnus “Fojji” Olsson, who will be attending other events. In addition, Italy Alessandro "stermy" Avallone, who will be competing in a CGS event, will be replaced by Italian-quaker Italy Tiziano "ob3n" Natale. Second, the ESWC Finals will be using the recently released Quake 4 patch 1.4.2 with the .78d Q4MAX update.

The tournament will be held at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles in Paris, France, and will take place July 5th-8th.
