The first stage of the Excello Quake 4 Cup begins today and with QuakeCon right around the corner, leaving much of the event is populated by some new names to the Quake 4 community. A little change of pace will be nice as we will get to see some new players like battle it out against some of the more well-established ones like Aaron-Anton "HELL" Jones and Tim "naymlis" Bowes. Could we possibly see some upsets today? I don't think that's quite out of the question as many of the new players are are learning quite fast and have a lot of potential. I think you'll just have to a keep it here for updates on the tournament to see.
