No, you aren't seeing double. Announced in the middle of their Scorched Earth tournament, TGL has announced yet another Enemy Territory: Quake Wars competition. Set to begin October 14th, this event will be much like the Scorched Earth tournament, featuring many of he same teams and cash prizes. But this time, Intel will be helping out and providing some of their processors to an undetermined amount of top finishers. In addition to providing prizes, all the matches will be played on servers provided by Intel.

Signups will be open until Sunday, October 14th, so head on over to the Intel Extreme ET:QW Championship Website and get in on the action.

The top three teams overall will be rewarded for their efforts with cash prizes. An extra match will be played to determine 3rd and 4th places. All hardware prizes for the tournament will be randomly awarded to teams that were eliminated in earlier rounds of the tournament; we do this to reward teams for their participation in the tournament.
