This past week, the Clanbase EuroCup XVI Q4 1v1 season kicked off with a bang. Though the number of players in the tournament may be few, the action was still hot as many good matches were played. Most notably of these matches was the battle between Spanish Quaker Sl1p and his opponent, SIRUS. After losing the first map by a five point margin, SIRUS pulled himself up by his boot straps to defeat Sl1p on Torment 16-4, and then completely dominate the Spaniard 16-0 on Placebo Effect.

On another note, American player Tim "naymlis" Bowes won his match against Portugese player, Biber. Winning both maps, Monsoon and Phrantic, Bowes played both maps with an average 130 ping and ran a clinic on the European with a barrage of prediction rockets and some well-handled LG fire.
