i read somewhere that sc2 will require a monthly fee. anyone wanna confirm this?

i'd be in favor of maybe 5-12 bucks a month.

Paying monthly for a game you have already purchased is kind stupid, hopefully this will be free online play.

It would make no sense if they charged money for it. MMO's are pay to play because you're paying for the additional content that would come out. Any additional content for Starcraft2 would be purely for single player purposes. Competitive play would have to be able to access everything right away or there would be no point. I'd be very surprised if it was pay to play because there is no logic behind it.

They want to, but I don't see how it would work, don't they just put ads on bnet anyway?
