Starcraft 2: Sensor Tower added to StarCraft II

Today, Blizzard Entertainment has just officially announced the Sensor Tower as a new building in the Terran arsenal.
With the long awaited sequel to StarCraft being in development, Blizzard Entertainment has given us an update by officially announcing a new building for Terran. This new building, known as a Sensor Tower was not available building in the original, but will now be making its debut in the second installment.

The Sensor Tower resembles a Turret in size and shape. Unlike the Turret though, this building is not equipped to attack enemies that are in range whether they are traveling by ground or air. The main purpose for this building is to detect incoming attacks that are still hidden under the fog of war. Another purpose of this building, like the Turret, is to detect hidden units.

One benefit to using this type of building is to trick your opponent into thinking that either your base or main attack force are somewhere that they are not. This can add even more strategic depth to the game.
