most games seem to be heading in that direction, although they still have bad plot lines, companies should get better writers if they're goig to put more cinematics in games.
graphics do not always make a good game. Operation Flashpoint has not very good graphics and is probably the best games i've ever played and is still five years old and still the best game i've played and they're now replacing it with a new game called Armed Assault and that has updated graphics with basically the same gameplay as ofp (operation flashpoint) except better and more up to date.
