Only one week after winning the most recent OSL Starleague, Jae Yoon "sAviOr" Ma will look to achieve his third straight MBC Starleague championship, a feat only matched by Korean StarCraft legends Yoon Yeol "NaDa" Lee and Yeon Seong "iloveoov" Choi. It would also mark his 4th total MBC championship, something no other StarCraft player has ever done in the history of the league. Ma is currently ranked number one on KeSPA (Korean e-Sports Players Association) rankings as of February 2007, with an outstanding 70%+ winning percentage in televised matches.

Ma's opponent will be the Protoss player Taek Yong "Bisu" Kim. Kim, who has never won a major championship in his career, will be the underdog in this much anticipated matchup. Kim is one of the few Protoss players circulating in both Starleagues which are packed with Zerg and Terran players. Although Kim's chances look slim to most, his 3-0 sweep of fellow Protoss player Min "Nal_rA" Kang in the semifinals shows he means business and could cause an upset if Ma doesn't take him seriously.
