The homepage of the wisdom Nerve victory has just reported that Ji Ho "PuSan[S.G]" Park will be representing his home country of South Korea in the upcoming IEF 2007 in China.
In a surprising move, the country of South Korea has chosen their representative for Starcraft that will be competing at the International E-sports Festival 2007. He goes by the name Ji Ho "PuSan[S.G]" Park and is considered to be one of the strongest protoss users on the professional gaming circuit to date. His solid performance in various leagues and tournaments has proven this. With his very macro oriented style he was considered by many to be the protoss hope. Even though, he has yet to win in any major tournaments he continues to play an important role on his team MBC HERO.

This isn’t the first time that we have seen Mr. Park in the news lately. Recently, information had been released to the public that he could very well be transferring to a new team once his contract expired. However, those rumors were put to rest after an official announcement was made that Ji Ho "PuSan[S.G]" Park would be renewing his contract with MBC HERO.

At the International E-sports Festival, he will have some big shoes to fill. At the last event, it was Yoon Yeol "NaDa" Lee who was able to finish in first place and take home the $10,000 prize. Will Ji Ho "PuSan[S.G]" Park be able to keep the title in South Korean hands? Or will one of the many top Chinese gamers have the strength to take him down? We will just have to wait and see.
