Yesterday, was the start of the first out of two qualifiers that will take place for the upcoming team league being sponsored by Qpad, Sennheiser Communications, and Logitech by the name of QCup. The tournament was under way and twenty-nine gamers fought for a chance in earning a spot in the QCup league for their team. In a relatively short period of time, we witnessed some heavy favorites being knocked out of the tournament early on. Disappointed competitors were typing the letters “gg” realizing that only one loss knocked them out of the tournament while the winners sat eagerly awaiting their next match. In the final series of the tournament, we watched the relatively unknown Chilean zerg known as MOJ representing Team CHILE facing off against the well-known American zerg user LzGaMeR of redCode.X-fi. Unlike in previous matches, the format for the final would be best of five. The first two games were fairly quick with MOJ managing to come with a victory. However, deciding at the last moment to change up his strategy the American switched to protoss in the third game. This move proved to not doing anything to help LzGaMeR and he was defeated with a score of 3-0 for MOJ. This win would give CHILE the victory and a guaranteed spot in the league. The second and final league qualifier is planning to take place next Wednesday, July 4th at 12:00PM EST (18:00 CET). Grand Finals [SCORES DATA UNAVAILABLE] The Teams
