Group D, a group predominately made up of rising superstars, but certainly no real big names. The first player of the group is Yong Tae "free[gm]" Yoon, a fairly well-known Protoss who has been slowly climbing up the leader boards with his strong Protoss versus Zerg play. The next contender is Seong Eun "firebathero" Lee has been one of the top performing Terran’s for Samsung Khan for sometime now. The third contender is In Kyu "Canata" Ko, a member of the veteran Terran lineup of SKT1 and maintains a rather impressive winning percentage against his Terran opponents. The final competitor in the group is Myung Soo “YellOw[ArnC]” Park who is the only Zerg competing GomTV3.

The first match of Group D would be free[gm] and firebathero against one another. As expected, the Protoss would take the win against firebathero who is known to be weak against Protoss. Moving along to the next matches, YellOw was able to overcome Canata and free would go on to defeat YellOw which would allow free to move onto the next round.

In the final two matches of the group, Canata was able to take down firebathero with his strong Terran versus Terran play. This win would put Canata up against YellOw and the winner would advance out of Group D. Canata would be able to get some revenge after his initial loss against YellOw to win this match.
