I started off in Quake 1, gaming on LAN with my older bro... then I started TF1, favoring the sniper class... Gradually my family moved from Q1 to Q2, and then to Q3... We never really got insanely good in any of those because our Internet was never more than 56k... damn college folk and their T1's!!!! ={ - At any rate, Around the time Quake3Fortress came out, we got DSL. I Owned the Q3F sniper class, and was a senior member in a *sniper clan* - the first of its kind as far as I know - we got murdered in our first match - but hey... it was fun... Then Q3F had to be ghey and make one shot headshots obsolete.... so I gave up and turned to TFC... Of course - I joined a Sniping Clan, but this time - there were about 50 other sniping clans... so there were complete ladders - such as www.sniperleague.org - lead by clan [ . ] (who is now also a CS clan)
I had a lot of success and I perfected the weapon under the alias xSNIPPYx. I soon fell short of time and ended up moving on...
CS -- I started playing CS because of my bro Jstar - he had been playing for a good 2 years already - and It was sooooo hard to do - then I relized a sensitivity of 13 isnt the best for conrolling recoil lol... So I lowered it- I have been in a few clans so far - all cal-o until #dv8
CS is not the only thing I do unlike JESH (jstar). I also Dive at a Junior Olympic level and I'm starting to practice 6 days a week once college rolls around... good times... we'll see where that goes... My bro and I are both up for LAN in Virginia, North Carolina, or even Maryland... |
