so u mean there is 2 cfg file ( 1 config.cfg , and 1 autoexec.cfg) #8 ? or should i copy everything from autoexec.cfg and paste it in config.cfg ? sory im newb
Whether I use your cfg or put everything on high, I get the same fps. Really high inside, really low outside or when there are lots of models running around. I can hardly play because everything gets full seconds behind when I actually click/press something.
#10 put in it's own separate file named as "autoconfig.cfg" and it'll automatically execute everything inside that file on startup everytime.
My own question is this: Is there anything in there that runs against the rules for the current CEVO tournament? I like the config, and that combined with the heapsize command improved my fps a fair amount.
this config made my game playable. actually it made it about 40fps and smooth which is awesome i was running at 10-15 fps and skipping all over the place. thanks d00d
I personally use the medium one and I dont get black textures like ive seen in these SS's, and I constantly alt tab.
Remember to put -autoconfig in your launch options if you are using a new script, this will set all the commands back to default before execing your new config. See my post on trypants for more info on this.

So i figured i would help you all with my FPS config. Hope it helps everyone out.
Set Launch Options : -heapsize 1310720 -dxlevel 81 -freq 85

Also don't set -freq, you really shouldn't need to plus forcing it to 85 on a monitor that doesn't support it could be disastrous

im getting this after trying the cfg, but the game run smoother then before.
how can i fix this ?and the error still remain after using back my old cfg :(

Its this one (for high FPS, but makes your game look like crap) and a medium FPS one.

Try running "-autoconfig" in your launch options, then exiting, putting in the config, and taking out -autoconfig.
That way, you won't have remnants of other configs and such.
