Roll with style + full resupply as a reward for each frag = perfect.
Players can roughly simulate it for themselves anyway (just bind a button to kill and hit that whenever you get a frag, it's instant respawn anyway) but that makes the game choppier and less fun. Would also solve the issue of soldier/demo being underpowered.
We set up our server so more people could participate in the DM since Roll With Style tends to fill up very quickly. Unfortunately, something with the last TF2 update messed with the random respawns and we can't figure out why, and apparently neither can the plugin maker.
We have a plugin for full resupply after you frag someone, which will be released shortly after we get the server working again, or so I've been told by Lange, who has put in a lot of work trying to get this thing working again.
Sorry guys, dick move from my part. I moved the server to a different port since I wanted the 27015 for the PUG channel. I now realize that it was very unnecessary.
The worst part is that we barely even use this one anymore since we got the other servers. :/
I've heard people go 50/50 on the full resup after a kill....if enough people vote for it, I will change it. The reserved slots are stupid and going to be removed. I have been busy working at nights at Summerfest here in Milwaukee and haven't had the proper time to maintain the server. I'll be able to get back on top of things after the weekend.
It's actually quite fun. I get to deal with mass amounts of people, including drunk chicks who flirt and leave me tips. I see concerts for free at a rediculously close range and talk to a local radio station staff, while throwing out T-Shirts. Beer isn't received at a discounted price, so that sucks, but since I'm an employee, I can bring in my backpack full of beer. So ultimately, I pay for about 4-5 beers at the end of the night. Not much to complain about except for the fact that getting out of the place is like a zoo, and I'm pretty tired :( . One more day left!
