Go there, that's all thats required to be said but I'll go ahead and say more.
If you've never been hacker, had to deal with hacker, or ect, then you won't know what's going on but this kid is cheating.
He's using autoaim and DEFINATELY using nospread.
If you don't know what nospread is, its a feature in many hacks that makes your bullets not go around but more in one spot.
Every single hack, except for the very best you pay for (250 for subscription) makes it so when you shoot or hold your button down, the mouse shakes.
someone post on steam forums or better yet notify tom novint about this cheater so he doesn't win his falcon because he is blatant cheater.
Also IF the youtube video gets taken down by the guy to save himself from getting caught I have downloaded and I am now uplaoding video www.gaminghardware.org/xmydl/My_battle_to..
He played at Lanopolis 2008 on the Ars team (who was beaten by the jentlemen in round 2 on gravelpit) , and there were several people in the competitive community who were there. (ukm, lopert, others?) Honestly I can vouch for him, as I've seen him play several times at LANs, and unless the people at Lanopolis noticed anything fishy, he should be clear. He's used the same steam account for two years now (i.e. since the beta of TF2).
Who cares if he played in a lan? That has NOTHING to do with his match yesterday for the falcon, nor the fact that his video shakes like hell whenever he's aiming at anything! Both in the early demo parts and later even more obvious when he's whacking his sentry, did you even watch the video #10?
Except in this case it is not only true, but blatant.
I sure hope I don't have to go into a point by point dissertation of why it was blatant, I generally have more faith in humanity then that. Maybe someday you are your caveman buddies can evolve a little into beings with the intelligence required to make use of common sense. When that day comes, invest in gold, seriously.
*Note* that Tyir is part of the same clan as the palsied beast.
well i spaz my mouse when i whack my sentry as well. habitual. the spread on the pistol is skeptical though.
idk why they did this for the contest though. shouldve thrown em into duel_duel2 and had em fight fairly. none of this sticky spam garbage and shotgunning soldiers behind the train cars.
spyvspy was dumb. and if he had a bot idk how he lost the spy one.
If he was hacking wouldn't he have done a bit better?
Honestly I don't know how hacks work, so I couldn't differentiate someone hacking from someone just being twitchy. I just don't see why he would upload a video of himself hacking. I also don't see why he would miss so many shots.
Anyways he doesn't play comp TF2 so I don't know why you guys would even care. If he's a pub hacker, then he'll get caught by VAC.
Upon watching the video again, I noticed that it's whenever he holds clicks mouse1 that his screen shakes. For instance, in the entire demo segment whenever he is spamming his pipes his screen goes crazy. Also when he's engy wrenching his sentry and pistoling. Hard to notice during the spy match because he didn't hold down mouse1 much there, but again at the beginning of the soldier fight he spams rockets and his screen shakes.
I wouldn't expect this guy to hack but since there was swag at stake who knows. Putting aside past experience and personal opinion:
seems pretty obvious that hes running something that makes his xhair shake around, but i can't see any point in the video where he got any benefit out of whatever was happening since most of it was projectile and when he had hitscan out he missed a lot
i guess maybe he just didnt know how to configure/use the hack properly? otherwise i have no fkin clue this video makes no sense to me, why would he upload it if he knows that the hack made his xhair shake and that it would show in the video...
i can only conclude that either he has parkinson's or he's the world's dumbest hacker
You just put up a peice of content that was not nuetral. You fell right into the hands of EG
#31 what i mean is that the crosshair is shaking and you can see there is plenty of space around it with no enemy model, he was aiming at the floor so its not like it was locking on through a wall
You just put up a peice of content that was not nuetral. You fell right into the hands of EG
You have to be an idiot to vouch for this guy after watching that video. I'm sure his constant shaking on killable objects was only due to his nerves...
Just because someone didn't cheat at a lan doesn't mean they won't cheat for some gimmick ass controller online.
#33 I've read the comments and re-watched the video a few times, and I agree it does seem suspicious. I'm hoping it's just his nerves and I don't turn out to be an idiot vouching for him, I really can't see the guy cheating. Anyways, the demo is up, I can't watch it but I'm hoping it looks a lot better that the youtube video
#36 ive been trying to keep up with the thread I made, and at times i was starting to doubt, but when he released the demo, and i watched it, all doubts went.
He fires, and split seconds later there is shaking. Surely nervousness forcing the mouse to move should come slightly before the clicking, because your finger muscles would contract before the mouse would feel the click. It coming after seems like a response of the click rather than a response of the finger, suggesting foul play to me.
Also if youre wondeirng why he posted a video, im guessing he was on a mini "high", having conned the company and eGO members, and felt he could get away with yet more. Maybe i watch too many serial murder documentaries, but I dont see it as out of character. He felt he could trick people for his own gain, and so he went to post the video.
I see now I didnt need to use his real name, the intention was to make it onto something similar to a news heading in a paper, because that would make it appear much more serious and get more attention. Using his name made it clear to people that the issue wasnt just within the game anymore, as he had hacked to gain real world possessions, but now I dont think it is really fair, even if he did hack. ive asked admins to edit the title, because I personaly cant, bt I would also want to apologise to him anyway.
hahaha oh wow. How many people actually got into this contest? I can say that it was pretty nerve-wracking with so much on the line. Notice how the shaking goes down as he plays more? Huh, could that be that he's calming down and getting into the groove? No, that's impossible! And despite the fact that he missed plenty of shots with the revolver and he shoot the least when he was pistol spamming the enemy SG, it must have been hacks that caused him to win on two projectile-based classes. The shaking by no means could have been nerves combined with the fact that he's Canadian on...what day was it? Oh, no, most Canadians don't get drunk on Canada Day.
On a non-sarcastic note: ITT: People that are jealous that they didn't get into the contest being fueled to anger by the guy that thinks Trautz is a hacker.
Lol I am sorry but some people are being blind as hell. Ok sure you have played with him in a LAN and he was legit. That's cool. But honestly, what makes you think, especially with something so 'big' on the line, that he would not give into DLing some TF2 hacks JUST for this contest? Honestly, moment like 2:34 just screams "Forgot to turn my hacks off".
"Notice how the shaking goes down as he plays more?". LOLUDUMB? You think hacks don't have toggles? Also, there is no such thing as a perfect aim in TF2. Did you ever think maybe he wasn't using no spread, and maybe his xhair was dead on during the revolver fight but it missed anyways?
Either way, straight up does not look legit in the beginning, and if you pay attention it almost looks like he uses walls just in the beginning of a round then toggles them. WHO KNOWS
Digest: People are mad cause 'They have played with him IRL and he wasn't hacking/wouldn't be the kinda person to hack" NO one hacks at lans you idiots. Again, what makes you think someone wouldn't cheat to win a competition with a prize at hand. Phhht. #38 made an ass himself and is most likely mad at me right now for pointing it out. Over use of sarcasm, and another mad claim about him being legit. I am SO GLAD GotFrag got ahold of this crap, BEST COMMUNITY EVER ROFL
JethroTull- I don't know what you seem to always have against me. This isn't the first time you've started something with me... if I did something to annoy you PM me and we'll figure it out, I don't want to have enemies. I wouldn't think a youtube video could be used as solid evidence. I wrote that before the demo was available
#43 Like I said, I could be wrong, maybe he just tried it for the contest, who knows. I was just saying I'd really be surprised since I really don't think he's the type of guy to cheat.
Anyways I've been told to ask people to watch the engineer battle at ~5% speed to show that the spread is still all over the place, even while he is twitching.
I said in my post, just because someone hacks, doesn't mean they have to have every hack enabled. Like I said, it's actually really likely that he did not have nospread on at all, considering he did miss some shots in the spy revolver battle, or maybe he un-did the possible aimbot by being nervious and throwing his fvcking mouse around.
Yes because it is possible to "undo" an aimbot rofl. Never tried one or seen one work have we? So many people talking out there ass here, I love the tubes.
Aim was too terrible for aimbot, if anything I imagine he forgot to turn nospread off and had it bound to whenever he fired. Remember when he was building his sentry he shook? Or how about he only shoot when he was aiming at the guy.
#47, he could have toggled it... but again, aim was just terrible
Another thing to think about. You wanna see someone twitch? Go watch enigma kill other scouts. That is natural twitching. Dude, just watching the demoman fight SCREAMS un-natural shaking. You would literally have to TRY to shake that much, and no one would do that in a competition for a prize. More food for thought: People do not play like that when nervous. Dude no one twitches all over the place throwing pipes at someone let alone laying fvcking stickies. I would know about being nervous, because I have a terrible case of inconsistency fighting scouts when I play scout. My aim can be terribly inconsistent, and I never look like that. When you are nervous with your aim(I'll post a demo of me being bad FFS if you don't understand this), your aim twiches left and right assuming the enemy is strafing back and forth to the left and right. There is no reason for someone to constantly shake up down left and right, when laying freakin stickies dude. Maybe had he bobbed his mouse up and down a tiny bit when he was laying stickies, that would have made sense Hell I throw my mouse all over the desk when I play demo (See w00ts video where he magically lands pills) but I look nothing like that.
Important note: If you think aimbot cannot be toggled, GTFO online FPS games or stop being in denial ^___^

mmmmmm, good cup o delicious e-drama
I care because I'm bored, otherwise I wouldn't, that being said......Hack the plant \m/
you mean... planet.

key word being visable... he still could have been there which would further prove the point that this kid is a hacking fink

Im renegade26, euro player, and OP of the steamforums post.
