Team GT is looking for a scout or two to round out our team. Experience level should be at least a few months of competitive gameplay, including leagues, scrims, pugs, etc. We aren't looking to bring in someone who needs to be mentored on what to do from the beginning. We are coming together very strong as a team, and the only missing piece is another strong scout, or two.
Being able to play sniper effectively, i.e. knowing when to do so and being able to hit your shots, is a major positive.
Being serious during scrims/matches, yet relaxing at other times and taking a joke is a must. Most of our members are adults with careers, college work, and families. We don't have much time to waste on a day-to-day basis. We work hard, and play hard.
We scrim pretty much any time we have 6 players on, but usually we schedule it to be four times a week, including weekends. Most weekday scrims will take place from 8 eastern until we no longer have 6 on.
We have been together as core for 8-10 weeks, with very little turnover. This will probably be the last player we pick up for awhile.
We are located throughout North America, but our server is located in Chicago.
Lastly, we are joining many leagues. We are currently in GWL and TWL (div 3), and looking to join CEVO and/or ESEA when their new seasons start.
These guys migrated from pubs and started out as a very low team, but are very quickly showing a lot of improvement and I watch them get better every week. Depending on who is playing for them, they are already showing that they can sometimes hold their own against mid level teams, but they still also sometimes get rolled as new teams tend to do.
Pretty fun group of guys. Most of them are older, some are even out of college already and have careers, and even wives and children in some cases, but they still somehow manage to scrim much more than most teams do.
They need to fill that whole at scout that they have right now, someone with experience would really bolster them, but they've had a hard time recruiting that type of player because they're so new
anyways, they deserve a good player. I know the guys who started this team and they're pretty chill
Edited the OP to reflect the fact that we are looking for up to 2 scouts, 1 to start and 1 to play the all-important reserve/backup role.
Our current starting scout gets occupied with his rocket surgery degree at times, which is fine. So as it stands we may need a total of two scouts, with one of those starting, and the other replacing Frond when hes away.

We are also entering the Alienware / Bigfoot Tournament!!
So we are still looking for that starting scout....haven't found one person to meet all our needs yet.
Still looking at 1-2 dudes (so to speak), but add me if you are competent and don't need to be taught how to play scout, and can also be on more than 2 hrs a day.

I can play scout well, but I'm just the worst at every other class, except maybe demo.
I'm terrible at sniper. Unless you want a body shotter, i can body shot all day.
