Gamebattles is a fun league to compete in. Its got constant scrims, can challenge someone, make a set time. The rankings are almost like stats. Also frequent LAN events from gamebattles.
Howcome it died? CEVO take over? This can give other teams that can't really compete in cevo, but are a challenge in TWL. As well don't want to pay for ESEA.
but why did it die, or never start? Can't tell since teams like Pandemic, iDemise, xensity, eXult, virgin police, BoNK, argon, [the ones I recognize] are on it. Haven't competed, because they signed up when cevo season 2 was underway.
10$ says if somebody like Fragile, Jaeger or another pro advertised it, you'd be all over it lol
I'd like a reason on why people gave up on it. Its a fine league. Nothing wrong with it. I think just trolls shun it for having console gaming on it and most people join the bandwagon.
GameBattles has stupid rules. They had in one of their PC game rulesets that third party VOIP programs were illegal. They're made of fail, didn't even bother to change the rules from their console version ladders.
#20 afaik, #team did CEVO, TWL, ESEA, and UGC last season. The reason that people don't do gamebattles is because it's terrible, not because of commitment.
Well #22, I should probably have clarified what I meant since I probably came off looking more than a little stupid. It's unlikely to see a team do more than three leagues often because people just don't have that much time on their hands and no scheduler ever wants to do it, which is why it's so rare.
It's pretty rare to see a team with people that have that much time and are that committed.
