The Xtreme Professional League's TF2 division is beginning its preseason matches next week, all team should verify that there players are on the team with proper SteamIDs. Only teams currently listed as Active will be scheduled for matches.
As a note, preseason is not required and records will be wiped before the season begins.
Unlocks are allowed during preseason season so teams can have fun and see how the weapons work. Formal votes on the weapons will occur in two weeks to decide how the season works out.
Any player who has not voted for the season map schedule should do so quickly, as I will be setting this next weekend off the votes in this thread: http://community.xpleague.com/Index.php?/..
Registration for the regular season remains open until June 18th, with matches beginning the week of June 20th.
Yup all unlocks are allowed for preseason, want teams to take a serious look at the pros and cons of things. We'll decide o what is in and out just before the season begins.

Since this is a free 2 play league, the prizes by XPL policy are not announced until Week 4. (XPL across all games that are free 2 play). To be honest I am not involved in the discussions of the prize directly.
I simply am not willing to ask players to join a pay for play league on an opening season of a new league, those would have prizes announced on day one.
I won't be able to play the first season due to being a shitty, but I hope you guys work a deal to get some broadcasts with pwnage or tgbf. Then you could get some nice exposure. :-)
Pwnage.tv is formally listed as a "Supporter" but exactly what that entails, I have no idea. *shrugs*
Once we get the season going and some "Marquee" level matches I will see what we can do to get a broadcast or two for sure. Since team will see two maps as opposed to one most likely.
Since the servers are not XPL but team owned, we cannot Guarentee STV is available. Many of the servers have STV, if teams want to have me put a relay up, drop a post in the XPL forums and we can get something hooked up. (Please give us 24 hours notice though)
