Today, Team Excello announced today that it is acquiring Comedy Option for it's Team Fortress 2 team.

This decision to pick up the team comes just after Comedy Option's close loss to Adrenaline Gamer. And though they didn't make it to the Grand Finals of the CEVO event, they are still considered one of the top teams in the community, and are still in contention in the TGL Roughneck Challenge.

"As a tight-knit group of friends, Comedy Option has thoroughly enjoyed being an independent team, free from managerial decisions, that may not be in the best interest of the players. Being familiar with Team Excello’s successes however, on both the gaming and structural aspects of the organization, we were very excited when they approached us about becoming Team Excello’s Team Fortress 2 team."

"Since I started playing Team Fortress 2, I have been impressed by it's gameplay and it's growing community, and figured it's only natural that Team Excello should have its own Team Fortress 2 team. With the game becoming more and more popular, and the inclusion of larger competitions, like the TGL's Roughneck AMD Challenge, and CEVO Professional, Comedy Option was a natural choice.
