Team Fortress 2: makeSHIFT Gaming picks up Strictly Business

By: Joe Szymkowicz - Published January 05, 2008 at 7:38 PM EST - Writer Archive
Just before the beginning of the CEVO Team Fortress 2 season, makeSHIFT Gaming has announced that it is picking up Strictly Business for their TF2 division.
Team Strictly Business has had a moderately short history together. Their players have a variety of different backgrounds, bringing experience from Counter-Strike 1.6 as well as Counter-Strike Source. Strictly Business hopes to prove that they are a worthy adversary in the upcoming CAL and CEVO TF2 seasons.

Being an up and coming multi-gaming organization, makeSHIFT has been looking to claim its own plot of land in a variety of different competitive games, such as Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike Source, making an impressive showing in both of them in recent tournaments.

Team leader, Ronald ‘dipSeT’ Brown said:

We decided to make the choice to join makeSHIFT because of the people behind it. Since TF2 started, we've been approached by many sponsors that promise this and promise that but no one ever really followed through on them. When I was approached by makeshift I almost declined but once I decided to have a chat with David and found out who he and MAKEshift were all about, I knew it would be something we would be interested in being a part of.

Strictly Business’ TF2 roster is as follows:
Bryan "bLackstar" Johnson
Marc "sphynxx" Vaillancourt
Ronald "_dipSeT" Brown
Matt "Ravage" S
Rob "bman" Reitmeier
Luke "Havoc" Barrett
Gabor "unf" Nemeth
