North America - It's the nature of the beast as we approach playoff time that some teams who have no chance of making the tournament will fall off the face of the earth come match time. Six matches are scheduled - and three of them even have time slots - but the chances even half of these matches being played are pretty slim. However, if teams put in the effort to schedule a match, I shall meet them halfway and predict their fate.

On a more interesting note, this will be the first cp_gravelpit match since the soldier/demo nerf, which was a serious hit agains the standard B-defense strat of SPAM! SPAM! SPAM! ..it'll be fun to see who's adapted the best :)

Update: SAC wins easily over Night Kids while $hot pulls out the upset over dm, ending dm's chance at the #1 seed!

Predictions:
Prize Fighting Goats v Legacy
I've learned something from my new CEVO-A pred-guy, Merlino (who's taking the week off - he doesn't think any matches will happen, and a part of me agrees): Legacy is a pretty badass team. They've beatdown some tough customers this season, including $hot, DANCE and last week's 4-0 sweep of the fading NEF. Currently holding a slim CPI lead over dm for the #1 seed, it'll be important for them to continue their dominating ways against pFg, who is grossly overmatched in this one. With a solid 2-0 win and a little help from $hot, L| should hold on to #1 no problem.

Delectable Meats v Money Shot - MOTW
There's nothing about this matchup that I don't like. Both teams are red hot - dm, coming off a big win against SAC (their potential TGL Finals opponent); $hot riding a 4-game win streak topped off by a big win over DANCE - and both have playoffs in their future, giving hope to a possible grudge-rematch. dm has impressed me all season save for one little slip up against DANCE, and while I've enjoyed watching $hot recover from their slow start, I think their streak ends here.

Sorry Ass Clan v Night Kids
I give credit to Night for sticking with it this season while a lot of other teams at their level have slipped away gently into that good night.. unfortunately, their reward is to be matched up against clans a level up, and be subsequently squashed. SAC needs this win if there's any hope of a playoff (that loss to DANCE really hurts), and win they shall.
