(GotFrag) - Week 4-1 went pretty much as most expected - except for the x6 match of course, to much surprise. Sway almost made my hopes come true at points ..until the very end which just left me confused.

The two matches to watch this time around are NR v UG in the lower tier and x6 v Xensity in the upper, both for being the only reasonably even-matched games.

A good thing about the two match/week schedule is that teams may "trim the fat" as someone said,and hopefully make up for any mistakes from the first round..




Pandemic v Apoplexy Industries

I'm not sure of the details for either team's last match but going by score alone it looks like Devastation had no problem with AI and Pandemic probably did't break too much of a sweat with Xen either. If AI can steal a round I'll be very impressed.

Eximius v Veneration

Moving right along to another lop-sided matchup..Eximius played a solid game vs Sway on Monday aside from a few random hiccups. I'm sure by now Veneration is adjusting okay but definitely not enough for Eximius. Player for player, Eximius will easily outscore Veneration and pull a 2-0. Look for random moments of Blackstar going afk to later blame his mother.

I may be mistaken but it appears sR has undergone some slight roster changes..whether its for good or worse I don't see it making any difference in this match. Devastation is taking this game with no problem.

Team Dynamic v Sway Gaming

Impulsively I want to say Team Dynamic will take this one only because they embarrassed x6. However, I think Sway is raged enough from the loss to Eximius to not allow themselves to lose this. I must mention though - and maybe it was just because I was falling asleep - but Sway did you guys just hand C to Eximius at the end? That and a few pathetic C-pushes aside, Sway performed better then most expected vs Eximius. They need to take this match if they want to stay in this season and land a good playoff seed. Look for carpet-bombing Destro to force early ubers or simply waste Dynamic's medic.

Xensity v Check-Six

After a rather embarrassing loss to 4G/Dynamic, perhaps mainly due to 2 starters missing- Check-Six faces Xensity. Both teams need this win. Xen needs to get a positive ratio and x6 needs to stay in the upper tier. If x6 has their main guys playing, they have no reason to lose this.

United Gamers v Northern Resistance MOTW

It may be silly to grant this game the match of the week, but I feel this the most even matchup and thats how I decide motw. For the first time in this season I see NR scoring their first round. This is the one guys. I still don't think NR is going to win as I think UG has more experience and has performed better against the top tier than NR.
