Team Fortress 2: Fragile officially leaves coL

Fragile & coL go their seperate ways in the midst of the CEVO-P S3 playoffs.
(GotFrag) - GotFrag has learned that TheFragile, heralded by many as one of the top medics in the game today, has parted ways with United States compLexity effective immediately, shedding some light on why hubris has been playing medic in the team's last few matches. Fragile joined the team - then under the banner of United States Pandemic - in the summer of 2008 after the departure of Dion, and was with them during their long run as the #1 team on the continent (if not the world), including CEVO S2, CGS S1, nVISION 2008 and GotFrag Invitational championship wins.

For now, there's no official word on what the next step for both coL (ie., whether hubris will become medic full time) and Fragile is, though the latter has hinted that he'd like to take a more laid-back approach to TF2 after such a long run as part of the top team in the game. Fragile was kind enough to answer a few questions about the move:

The only real question one has to ask is, why?

TheFragile: Well, it's a tough question to answer, to be honest - I'm not totally sure how to word it.

Is it due to stress of being a top team, always expected to perform, etc.? The game just isn't fun anymore?

TheFragile: Yeah, there was a lot of stress involved - stressful to the point where I just wasn't having much fun anymore. I wanted to take a more laid-back approach at TF2, and they understood that. It has been an amazing time while on the team, and I wish luck them on their future endeavors.

Any idea where you'll go next?

TheFragile: There are a few places I might head, but all I'll say is I won't be playing medic - scout, or more likely soldier is what I'd prefer. That's not to say I'll never play medic again - I might one day, but for now I just wanna relax and have fun (with soldier and/or scout). As for where, guess you'll have to wait and see :3 - though, in the meantime, I'll definately be playing some QuakeLive.

compLexity is currently awaiting an opponent in the Grand Finals of the CEVO-P S3 playoff run, but will have to make due with the remaining elegible members still rostered.
