(GotFrag) - With the countdown timer officially locked - "ESEA League Season 3 registration ends in League registration has closed." - all that's left for those lucky teams who made it into the ESEA Season 3 Open and Invite Divisions is to sort out their roster spots and get everyone paid up... which is apparently a much more intensive process than one thought.

The latest to roll off the transaction wire is the departure of Ryan "sycknesS" Mitchell from ESEA Season 2 runners-up compLexity, who recently picked up a new Soldier in paladin after the whole Dynamic/iDemise thing earlier today. The man himself has no comment on the matter (proof: "sycknesS > no comment") for leaving his longtime teammates who are no doubt looking to rebound after back-to-back defeats at the hands of Pandemic. We therefore can only speculate on what's going on behind the scenes of a team that, in the span of just a few weeks, has lost three - Fragile, hubris, and now sycknesS - of its key players (plus a backup - hi alex) from what was once an untouchable roster.

Rumours speak of a yet-to-be-announced pickup that may have played a factor in sycknesS' decision to leave, but with no confirmation they remain just rumours. It's also important to note that, contractually, sycknesS is still a part of the coL organization and that won't change until they officially release him.
