Team Fortress 2: ESEA-I 2:1 Melee and Preds

By: Nick Pitts - Published May 19, 2009 at 4:52 PM EDT - Writer Archive
Week 2 is for the scouts as snipers as we try and survive follower.
GotFrag.com - Well, two of the matches have already been played, so to spice things up a bit I have decided I will do predictions for the remaining two. Now I know you guys miss my predictions (sarcasm) but please... compose yourselves. So, here we go.

So far, we have seen one steamroll in United States coL destroying United States Virgin Police and one complete waste of time with United States Pandemic playing United States 20id with five players. Both matches resulted in an easy guess, 5-0. Hopefully, they next two matches are at least somewhat worth watching.

bustanut: This isn't going to exactly be a "good" game, but then again both teams will probably be able to field six. Orzo has been added to the roster which helps a tremendous amount. If they were to use kritz at middle, he could cause some damage. But, it will be imperative the scouts protect him because this map is huge like oPlaiD's ego. Knowing Pure, I am going to assume they will be more than prepared for this map. If their scouts play like we all know they can, the job will get done quick. But, ducky should equally have a hay-day as a sniper. In the end, Pure should take this one with ease.

bustanut: I love all the EG guys, but where is the old Sway team I grew to love? I know some of you have been busy, but I know you have the potential. With that being said, EG needs to practice this map. There are just too many places scouts can get through to flank to just pug it. With that being said, EG will be at an immediate advantage because of their ping. Fuyanks won't be able to run a heavy on this map because of the sheer size... of the map, not the heavy. With both teams getting beat by coL convincingly, I think this should be a pretty close match. If reen does what he does, frags, and his team has practiced the map, they could run away with it though.

EG [ 5 : 3 ] Fuyanks
